What should Tristan's forge be named?

Baby time. Minecraft Server time.

We'll if you are wondering about the absence of blog posts it is because my mother dearest just had another child. This new little sister has been quite a handful and she has been keeping me readily incapacitated. When I am not dealing with my sister I am playing Minecraft with Ethan and Tristan. etrith.hopto.org is the IP if your interested. It is a faction/mcmmo/rpg/medieval server. All of the factions are based of Game of Thrones. It's fun stuff. We maxed out all 15 slots when we made it public yesterday. Since then people have dabbled.

Finger Warfare 2 is nearing completion and I have started writing some scripts for upcoming films. Tristan is also going to remaster When Zombies Strike with FCE. Tristan has also almost completed his forge. We are going to be able to forge our own weapons for the medieval movie. Who else does that!

Midterms...

Well, its been a long couple of weeks. Both me and Tristan had midterms and Hackee's are next week. Me, Hackee and Ethan where able to go to the local school's film festival and it gave us some cool ideas. We really want to make a video and a movie about Dover. There are a lot of special places around Dover and I see many possibilities for really cool camera angles and such. We are still deciding what song we want to do for the music video. When we do we can start planning that and I think it will be really sweet.

Short new video and stuff

Ok so here is the short new video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOMZzKQM_VU

And the stuff is that Josh, Wes, and I (Tristan) are going to start building pulse jets and other simple jets. At least I hope so.... Finger Warfare 2 hasn't been worked on in about a week because of midterms.

A sad day

Well, I have bad news. Our friends mom who had been battling lung cancer for a while died recently.

Armor

Wes told me that I should write a post about my chainmaille, so here goes. So the chainmaille is 16-18 gauge mild steel, and the rings are butted. It was $150 dollars from here (Warning, NSFW). It weighs about 30 pounds but is very fluid and the weight is distributed fairly well; especially with a belt. It came covered in grease, so I washed it off in the sink with some dish detergent then sprayed it with a little bit of WD40 (although something called fluid film works better). Washing then re-oiling seems counter productive, but the oil is a lot less nasty than the grease. It is currently stored in a bin with a towel on the bottom and top to absorb moisture. Chainmaille is great. If you're a nerd, you should definitely get some. If you want something less functional and lighter (12 pounds) check out thinkgeek's aluminum chainmaille shirt.

Hasta Luego!
