YouTube Broke. So Like our facebook instead!

Did ya hear? YouTube kicked the bucket today (Sorta.) Comments and Subscriber boxes are broken and there is a lot of 502 errors. Yikes O Rama O My Soul.

Dead Waters Release + Halloween

Well, all the footage is filmed and all the music has been found. It's all edited now we need to streamline the whole viewing. We have to make some changes here and there. You know how it is. So, plan on Dead Waters releasing this weekend. Maybe even sooner! We are totally psyched for the release. Everything really came together. It is probably one of the best movie we have done so far. Defiantly the most difficult to make :D Know that Dead Waters is not almost behind us we need to look forward to Halloween. Yes, Halloween.  We need to do something, scary, something violent, something profound. We have some ideas for a good scare, but it will be a lot of work. Blood is on sale as well this time of the year so look forward to that.

I'm in the good sort of ALL CAPS RAGE right now. We received an email from youtube, offering a youtube partnership to dynaduct! So now we just wait for the adsence accounts to be linked, and BAM we are good! Also, we are gearing up for a weekend release of dead waters. Stay tuned!

We are formulating our plans for DynaDuctINC's next big hit. If you can call what we have now hits that is, ummm ya. So we know what it has too look like. And that's pretty much it. We need to make a script, gather props, gather equipment. I think I really need a good microphone for this one. Maybe a Zoom. Ya, a Zoom. And I will probably need to build a camera mount rig thingy. Hmm. Well yes, it is all pretty much in my head, but it will be good. And there is always "The Movie"...

Brand Spanking New Shiny Looking Video Master Tristan

There is a new video today (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LHQDPimBlo) . I do not think I have ever mentioned it before. I had an idea for it and Mikey wanted to rip his shirt of so I figured we should just combine the two. I think the video is pretty funny, but I might be biased because I made it and I know who is in it. I actually think I messed it up by laughing when Mikey rips his shirt, but oh well, it was some funny stuff and I was eating which makes everything much more entertaining. Someone right that down that was genius. Oooo I will endorse our twitter now.

Dead waters delays

Well... Dead waters will not be done as soon as I hoped. I need to still tweak some stuff on a phone call scene and a section of the video that features portishead machine gun (the song used in the metro last light trailer) I want this to be an amazing production that will blow you away. Also, part 2 may not be filmed until spring or next year at this time. The changing of the leaves is creeping upon us and in a few weeks we may have too much color to film. We can't film this weekend as I will be at west point for 9-11, and next week, Ethan and I are hiking Mount Washington. I don't know if we could film after that but we could try. Part 1 should be up this weekend but I'm not promising anything. On a more awesome note, through the school media club, I will have access to adobe after effects cs5.5 so look for a massive increase in epicness soon.

Lately I have been thinking...

Well, I think we should advertise more. We used to be really motivated and stuff, but now, not so much. Another thing that has been bugging me is that how is it that crap videos from a channel that no one has heard of and just joined a month ago have more views than Mr Umbrella Man or Finger Warfare? I mean they are not the best of youtube, but they are 100% better than most of the crap out there. We spend so much time on these videos and then someone sends me their video called "Finger Warfare" which is a big rip off of ours. And it completely sucks, but they magically got 700+ views on it. I'm not being cynical either, I know we are not the best YouTube channel out there and I know we have a ton of room to grow, but still how can some crappy rip off (1st vid on their channel btw) have more views and bring in more subs? It really drives me crazy why the stuff we do is not getting more attention than it is. So that is what has been bugging me lately. OH MAN. I just talked to my sister and she did not even know we had a blog. C'MON my own sister?  This is a problem.
